Terms & Conditions

Effective date: June 18, 2026 · Last updated: June 18, 2026

Welcome to Fieldhouse, a members-only community for women who competed at the varsity collegiate level. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Fieldhouse Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Fieldhouse,” “we,” “us”), with offices at 350 Springfield Avenue, Suite 200, Summit, NJ 07901. By creating an account, applying, or using our website and member platform (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Eligibility & membership

Membership is open to adult women (18+) who competed in varsity athletics at the collegiate level. All applications are subject to review and verification. We may approve, decline, suspend, or revoke membership at our discretion, including if information you provide cannot be verified or if these Terms are violated.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account or let anyone else use it. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Membership fee, automatic renewal & cancellation

Membership requires payment of the applicable membership fee in effect at checkout.

Automatic renewal. Your membership automatically renews at the end of each membership term so your access continues without interruption. When your term ends, we will charge the payment method on file for the next term at the then-current applicable membership fee, unless you cancel before the renewal date as described below. We will send you a reminder at least 14 days before each renewal date.

How to cancel. You may cancel your membership at any time, up to your renewal date plus 7 days, through your account settings or by emailing info@meetfieldhouse.com. Canceling stops future renewals.

Renewal refund. If you cancel within 7 days after a renewal charge, we will refund that most recent renewal charge. Other membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in these Terms.

Verification refund. If your application is not approved or we cannot verify your eligibility, your initial join fee is fully refunded.

State residents. Where required by law, you may cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge, and you have the cancellation and refund rights described above.

Member content & the directory

Fieldhouse includes a member roster/directory, community chat, an events calendar, an opportunities board, and the Coaching Staff directory. Information in your profile — including your name, photo, school and athletic history, location, professional details, and the contact methods you provide — is visible to other approved members. Content you post (chat messages, opportunities, business listings, feedback) may be visible to other members and to administrators. You keep ownership of what you submit and grant Fieldhouse Inc. a license to host, display, and operate it within the Service.

Member conduct

Treat one another with respect and use the community, directory, chat, and events in good faith. Do not use member contact details or content for spam, harassment, scraping, resale, or any unlawful purpose. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

Event Photography and Media

Fieldhouse may photograph, film, and record its events. By attending a Fieldhouse event, you grant Fieldhouse Inc. the right to capture and use your name, image, likeness, and voice in photos, video, and audio for Fieldhouse's marketing, promotional, and editorial purposes across owned and paid media, without further notice or compensation. If you prefer not to be featured, let a Fieldhouse representative know at the event and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

Disclaimers, liability & assumption of risk

Disclaimer of warranties. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. Fieldhouse Inc. does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, and is not responsible for the conduct of any member, for member-to-member interactions, or for any event, whether hosted by Fieldhouse Inc. or by a member.

Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fieldhouse Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Fieldhouse Inc. for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the membership fees you paid to Fieldhouse Inc. in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100). These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud.

Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fieldhouse Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your content, your conduct, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

Event Participation and Assumption of Risk. Fieldhouse events may include physical activities such as workouts, fitness classes, and athletic events. Participation is voluntary. By participating, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks, including the risk of injury, and you confirm that you are physically able to participate and have consulted a physician if needed. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risks of participation and release Fieldhouse Inc. and its officers, employees, and representatives from any claims, liabilities, or injuries arising out of your participation in any Fieldhouse event, except to the extent caused by Fieldhouse's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting/database), Stream (chat), Resend (email), Google (optional calendar sync and location lookups), and our hosting providers. Your use of those features may also be subject to the third party's terms.

Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to bring a lawsuit in court and to have disputes decided by a judge or jury.

Informal resolution first. Before starting any arbitration or court proceeding, you agree to first try to resolve any dispute with us informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute and your contact information to info@meetfieldhouse.com. You and Fieldhouse Inc. will then try in good faith to resolve the dispute for at least 60 days after the notice is received. If it is not resolved within that period, either party may begin arbitration as described below.

Binding arbitration. Except for the matters listed under "Exceptions" below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding arbitration rather than in court. The arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, and may be conducted in person in Union County, New Jersey, by telephone or video, or based on written submissions, as allowed by those rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. By agreeing to arbitration, you and Fieldhouse Inc. are each giving up the right to sue in court and to have a dispute decided by a judge or jury.

Class-action waiver. You and Fieldhouse Inc. agree that disputes will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.

Exceptions. Either party may (a) bring an individual claim in a small-claims court with jurisdiction, and (b) seek injunctive or equitable relief in the state or federal courts located in Union County, New Jersey to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

Your right to opt out of arbitration. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing info@meetfieldhouse.com with your name and a statement that you wish to opt out. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Union County, New Jersey, and you and Fieldhouse Inc. consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Governing law. These Terms and any dispute are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to comply with law. Some provisions survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date; your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
